How Much Does Video Production Cost in Minneapolis?

Most video production companies won’t publish their prices. We do. Here’s what video production actually costs in Minneapolis–St. Paul, what drives the number up or down, and how to get an exact quote for your project in about two minutes.

The short answer

Most corporate videos in the Twin Cities land between $2,500 and $25,000. The majority of small-business projects fall in the $5,000–$15,000 range. Where your project lands depends on four things: crew size, shoot days, editing complexity, and how many finished videos you need.

Our actual rates

We publish our crew rates so you can budget before you ever talk to us:

ServiceRate

What actually drives the cost

Crew size. One camera and one operator costs less than a full cinematic crew. The right size depends on what the video needs to do — not every project needs a gaffer.

Shoot days. Time on location is the biggest line item. Good planning shrinks it.

Editing and motion graphics. A clean cut of an interview is quick. Animated explainers, branded graphics, and multiple revisions add editing hours.

How many videos you get from one shoot. This is the highest-leverage budget decision you can make. A well-planned single shoot day can produce three to five finished videos — testimonials, promos, and social cutdowns, all batched together.

How to stretch your budget

Batch your shoot days. Plan your interviews so one session feeds multiple videos. Shoot vertical and horizontal at the same time. And if you need content every month, a project-by-project budget usually isn’t the cheapest path — that’s what our Creative Content Plan is for: an embedded creative team on one predictable monthly plan, for less than the cost of a single hire.

How long does it take?

Most projects deliver in 3–6 weeks from kickoff. Testimonials and explainers can turn around in 2–3 weeks. Rush delivery under two weeks is possible with a rush fee.
